BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFITS: LONDON EDITION

The induction week has gone by and I decided to share with you my outfits. If you follow my on Instagram at @dianaateodorescu you might have seen them there already.

It was a wonderful week in London, sunny and very warm. You might notice a pattern in my outfits: the white top. I believe it is the perfect transitional piece from summer to autumn and it can be styled in endless ways.

GRADUATION

Better late than never, they say! So many things have changed from my last post. First, I have moved towns and I live in London now. I couldn't be any happier, as I love this city so so much and it is more than I have ever dreamed. Then, I got a job and this is the main reason behind the lack of posts. But things are slowly settling down and I hope to be posting regularly in the near future. Last, but the most important thing and what this post is all about, I have graduated.

SEASON'S MUST HAVE: THE CROP TOP

Another must have of the season: the crop top! I am sure you've all seen it somewhere, whether on someone on the street, in your favourite store or on catwalks. This outfit is a little bit out of my comfort zone, as I am not used to showing my stomach too often. Of course, the crop top can be styled up or down in so many ways. Just decide how revealing you want it to be and use your imagination. I will definitely will be wearing it with high waisted skirts or high waisted smart trousers for more special occasions.

SEASON'S MUST HAVE: YELLOW

I have decided to share with you a few of my must-haves for this season! The first one is by far my favourite: the colour yellow! You can find this colour in every single shop in the spring-summer collections, together with the pastels.

Why I love yellow? Because it's fun, playful, bright and happy.

SOMETHING SPECIAL

Here's an outfit which I used as an alternative for a dress at my friend's birthday party. It's such a versatile combination, being appropriate for both a business and a festive occasion. Both blouse and trousers have been purchased from Dika, a store with high quality tailored garments, which I found perfect for staring my 'office' collection.

CASUAL OFFICE

Sometimes I feel like wearing a slightly more office outfit, but without giving up my loved jeans. This specific pair of jeans is very flattering and combining it with a blazer can be transformed in so many ways, from day to night or from office to sport. I chose a casual office outfit and I accessorised it with a large clutch and my Zara flats.

COLOURFUL FLATS

Hey guys! Here's a short post with the outfit that I have been wearing last weekend. I am currently in love with my new colourful flats that I got from Zara in my recent trip to London. It has been an adventure to get them because they did not have my size anywhere and I am so so happy they are mine now. I paired them with a simple outfit (jeans and t-shirt), perfect for a walk in sunny Manchester.

BEST FRIENDS

Really sorry for being absent from the blog in the past three weeks. I have finally submitted all my projects and had my exam last Friday. Sooo.. I finished university!! So happy and pretty scary in the same time. Now I can concentrate on the blog much more and I am planning many new things.

Here are the last photos that I took in Bucharest in my spring holiday. Sooo.. meet Ana, my best friend! (PS: I miss you!). We spent a lovely day together before heading to Manchester. We were both wearing our boyfriend blazers with jeans. While my outfit is quite monochrome, hers is very lively and colorful.

STATEMENT BLAZER

Hi!! Sorry for not posting for a few days. I have a really busy schedule for the following month, so I won't be making so many posts. But I promise you that after these weeks I will come back with lots of new stuff.

Sooo..here's another outfit I was wearing in the sunny Bucharest. It is a very simple one, but with a statement blazer. I kept everything minimum, with clear lines and a limited colour palette. I was wearing again my favourite flats from Musette and jeans from Mango. You will see my best friend, Ana, in one of the next photos. We have prepared a post together that will be up shortly.

ASOS FAVOURITES

I don't know about you, but personally I am in love with online shopping. Or maybe obsessed with it. But I feel so lucky that it is a part of my degree! It can actually be a part of my research. Back to shopping. I adore the fact that I can stay in my bed and browse through my favourite brands.

Lately, I have been into Asos. I don't know why, maybe because they have amazing discounts, not only to their own brand, but also to all other brands they sell on their website. An extra bonus is that they have free delivery worldwide and their customer service is exceptional. Their return policy is really simple and they answer quires pretty quickly.

FAVOURITE FLATS AND NEW SKIRT

I am enjoying the sunny days in Bucharest as much as I can before I will head to Manchester next week. I wore this outfit yesterday afternoon when I went to see all my friends.

These are my favourite flats of all times and they are from Musette, a Romanian brand. You might have seen in a previous post that I also have a pair of boots from them. Now coming back to the flats. When I buy a new pair of flats, I always have the same problem. They hurt my feet so bad that I end up jumping instead of walking. But this pair is the only one that has never done so. They are made from the softest leather ever!

MASCARA: L'OREAL OR YVES ROCHES?

I have always been very picky about mascaras. I have been using the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Extra-Black for the past four or five years. But last month I received the Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Ultra-Volume Mascara and I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the results, so here is my review on both mascaras that I currently love. I'm not an expert and these are only some facts that I have came across when using them.

HOME SWEET HOME!

Finally home, sun and loved ones!

This is my outfit for the first day spent in Bucharest! The weather was wonderful and I had the chance to wear this spring outfit. I took this pastel skirt out of the closet and mixed it up with a new pair of Zara flats.

VIBRANT COLOURS!

I am finally back in Bucharest after an unexpected stop in Amsterdam. Sorry for not posting for a while!!

Here's an outfit which I have worn at the OMG Fashion Event a couple of weeks ago where I went with my lovely flat mates. I was wearing my absolute favourite blazer from Zara and a black sequins skirt which seemed perfect for this occasion! And I truly believe that the yellow and turquise make this black outfit pop out.

THE SUPER EASY WAY TO WEAR BLAZERS

I love blazers! That's just me.. I would wear them with every single occasion: school, night out, interview, shopping, dinner, lunch with friends.. everywhere. I find blazers the most versatile items in a wardrobe and I consider it the one piece you can never go wrong with. Of course, you do need to find different blazers to suit different circumstances. But there are exceptions... some blazers (e.g. a black one) could easily be adapted for various events.

TAKING MY FAVOURITE BOOTS FOR A WALK

Everyone should definitely have a favourite pair of boots! Mine are from Musette and I adored them from the minute I saw them. I've been wearing them a lot lately as the weather started to become better.

I love how they look when it's sunny outside as the gold leather gently shines in the sun. In order to get this feminine outfit, I combined the boots with a floral print skater skirt and a cropped oversized sweater.

IN LOVE WITH OPI

When I first started this blog I never imagined that I would ever do beauty reviews, but I cannot help myself writing about this amazing nail products that I have been using recently.

I bought this mini collection of OPI nail polishes a couple of months ago during the sale period from Harvey Nicholas when I treated myself for a high grade I got in uni. I also got the base and top coats from Amazon because I was tired of doing my nails every two-three days as the nail polishes didn't last any longer. I have been using both the mini collection and the base & top coats since then and I couldn't be happier.

LET'S GO OUT!

It's the end of the week and here is my first 'going out' outfit! Unfortunately, I won't be able to party these days due to some deadlines for Sundays, but I got the chance to photograph this outfit a couple of weeks ago when I went to a party.

I was so happy to have found the perfect occasion to wear this lively dress. The eye-catching print fits perfectly with the beginning of spring. I chose to wear it in combination with my gorgeous purple blazer and knee-high black leather boots.

BUSY SCHOOL DAYS?

Unfortunately, university projects and assignments have taken all my free time away from me this week. Jeans, a top and trainers are all I need as my study outfit. Comfortable and perfect for an afternoon spent in library!

I took my CK bag, big enough to hold all books and paperwork needed for school. I absolutely adore it and I will be wearing it a lot in the future, as it is a basic piece in my wardrobe which will never go out of fashion. The ruffles and the necklace add a bit of glamour to the outfit, making it exciting and lively.

SUNNY MANCHESTER

It's been a lovely and sunny week in Manchester and I had the chance to wear my new NY cap which I got in my recent trip to New York. After a couple of months of rain and cold weather, the sun recharged my batteries and I am ready to continue with the exciting projects at uni.

I chose to wear my pretty Boohoo swing dress which is so easy and comfortable to wear, perfect for any occasion. The 'all black' outfit makes the hat stand out and even if it's a casual outfit, the dress keeps it feminine and stylish.
